Drupal Content Management system

Drupal is an open source content management system and framework based around the traditional LAMP (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP) though Drupal can be used on a range of systems that run PHP and a relational database even Windows!

But what is a content management system?

A content management system is a program that stores information and aids collaboration in a user friendly means, today CMS is used to describe systems that users do not touch the code on a web site, but edit the site through a series of forms.

Why Drupal?

Here at Venture Skills we like Drupal actually we like it a lot, its fast scalable and very powerful, it allows us full control to change the template, add modules etc. While most CMS have these traits Drupal probably has the balance between functionality and control.

If your interested in Drupal visit drupal.org or you could check out our post on some of the best modules for Drupal 5.0 and please don’t take our word for it try IBM Drupal tutorials as well.
